On recent tours and concerts, in the role of Radio Tech, Andy has managed the use of wireless microphones and wireless in-ear monitoring systems. Using a combination of planning prior to arrival on site and the use of the latest analysis technology and software to monitor systems throughout the performance, Andy has worked with artists to help them escape the constraints that conventional wired solutions place on a performance. As a qualified broadcast engineer, company director Andy Squibb is no stranger to radio technologies and their use in professional audio applications. Prior to taking over the company in 2004, Andy worked as a freelance broadcast engineer for radio stations all over the UK.
Having worked on transmission systems at broadcast sites all over the county, Andy is familiar with the technologies and legalities of radio broadcast systems. Although now primarily working on projects where large-scale audio is key, we still advise and work on projects where radio broadcast is the method of delivery.
