Hire

It's the reason we're here - we're passionate about audio, and we've got the equipment and the people to meet your requirements. We'll supply you equipment on a dry hire basis or a fully managed solution, including engineers/operators where required. If we don't carry the type or quanity of equipment you require, we work closely with one of the UK's largest audio hire companies to fulfil contracts that we can't fully supply in-house.

Please note that we no longer publish a price list covering items hired individually on dry hire. Instead we'll produce a quotation that's individual to you, taking into account your requirements, the duration of the hire and whether you require installation and removal.


Staging Hire
Our most exciting development is the introduction of staging to our range. We now have our own 10m x 8m ground support and roof system that can be used indoors or out, turning sports halls, arenas, fields and even car parks into entertainment venues. This is the kind of roof you’ll no doubt have seen on ‘…in-the-park’ style concerts (eg. BBC’s Last Night Of The Proms regional concerts in various city centres). We’ve also taken delivery of a large stock of Litedeck, the industry standard modular staging system, which can be used independently of the roof system to create platform stages of all shapes and sizes.

2-way radio hire

We have recently taken delivery of a number of Motorola radios to hire in response to customer feedback. These professional radios should not be confused with cheap PMR446 radios available on the high street. Operating under a business radio license, these radios use frequencies that are not available for public use.

They're ideal for organising events or any size, eg. carnivals, fetes, festivals. In addition your risk assessment may have highlighted the need for your staff or marshalls to keep in touch with each other during your event.

Charitable Event Scheme
At Spyder UK, we are proud to support events that raise money for charities either by the charity directly or by groups organising an event to raise money for specific charities.

We’re able to offer a limited number of groups support with putting on an event through the provision of our services. The level of this support is variable, and can range from a reduction in the cost of our services to the provision of some or all of our services free of charge.

Unfortunately it is simply not possible to support every event, nor is it possible to offer every event a full reduction in the cost of our services, however we will consider every application regardless of the size of your event. We recommend that you consider seeking additional commercial sponsorship or support options in addition applying for support from us.

In order to best evaluate your needs and how we can help, we ask charities (or groups/businesses organising events in order to raise money for a charity) to complete an application form, detailing the planned event.
